MSc. in Civil Engineering (Hydraulic Structures) from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, 1999. Title of thesis, “Study on the Geometry of Bridge Guide Walls by Physical Model”.

 

PhD in Civil Engineering (Hydraulics) from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, 2006. Title of thesis, “Development of a Mathematical Model for Predicting Flow Condition and Bed Topography at Bridge Sites”.

 

Academic Activities:

  • Teaching Assistant in Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics, Amirkabir University of Technology (2000-2001).
  • Research Student, Lab of River Engineering, Dept. of Civil Engineering, Kyoto University, under supervision of Prof. Takashi Hosoda, March-September 2002.
  • Lecturing Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics, Hydraulic Structures, and Computer Programming by FORTRAN, Faculty of Engineering, Dept. of Civil Eng., Yazd University (from 2003).

  • Design of hydraulic structures in consultant engineering companies for 4 years.
  • Study on hydraulics of guide walls by physical model.
  • Study on prevention of scouring by using riprap.
  • Formulation and study on Large Eddy Simulation and its application in rivers (in association with Water Research Center Co. in Tehran)
